How Among Us works

Players are assigned roles as crewmates or impostors. Crewmates complete tasks around the map to maintain the ship or station, while impostors attempt to eliminate crewmates without being caught. When a body is discovered, a meeting is called where players discuss and vote to eject suspects. The game continues until either all tasks are completed or impostors are eliminated, or impostors achieve their goal.
